An Early 20th Century Sugarloaf Cabochon Burma (Myanmar) No Heat Ruby and Diamond Ring

£12,000

Item description

What can we say about this GORGEOUS ring? It is, in our opinion, a true connoisseur's piece. The ruby comes with a laboratory report noting it to be of Burma (Myanmar) origin with no heat treatment - which puts it into a rare category. In terms of shape and look - think vibrant jelly sweet jewel - it really does look good enough to eat! With the high dome so typical of a sugarloaf-cut, it weighs an estimated 7.50cts. With subtle tiny diamond accents to the gallery and shoulders it really does shout quality over quantity. A piece very much of its era. Can you tell we LOVE it?!

This uniqe ring is waiting to be matched with someone who loves its individuality. It could potentially be a beautifully rare and unusual alternative solitaire engagement ring for some one looking for someting a little bit different or could be the ideal gift to celebrate a 40th wedding anniversary.

Typical wear consistent with age. Currently size Q 1/2.

Accompanied by a laboratory report.
