Jacqui Mathieson joins my business
I'm thrilled to announce that Jacqui Mathieson is joining my business on a part time basis. Jacqui brings a wealth of experience and will support me mainly with the design and remodelling side of my business. I’ve known her personally for around 20 years and was absolutely delighted when she agreed to come on board!
A jewellery designer with 33 years’ experience in the jewellery retail world, Jacqui studied jewellery and silversmithing under Dorothy Hogg at Edinburgh College of Art, working with Clelland Brown of Edinburgh after graduation.
At Clelland Brown Jacqui gained her Retail Jewellers Diploma and Gemmology Diploma. Her 23 years with Clelland Brown were spent working with modern jewellery, creating bespoke designs, and remodelling pieces which had lost their attraction.
Jacqui then moved on to work with Alistir Tait Fine and Antique Jewellery, where she continued designing bespoke pieces and was introduced to the world of antique and pre-owned jewellery, along-side modern jewellery, and rare and unusual gemstones.
This is an exciting moment as I grow my business. Rest assured you will still receive the high quality, personal service I pride myself on as Jacqui and I work closely together to create beautiful pieces of jewellery for clients.
