A pre-owned South Seas and Tahitian cultured pearl suite

This impressive suite comprises a collar, a bracelet and a pair of earrings, all in their original Hamilton & Inches fitted box.
The graduated necklace sits incredibly well on the neck and the subtle variety of hues (from white through various shades of grey, to black) seen in the South Seas and Tahitian cultured pearls means that different outfits would highlight different hues. The cultured pearls measure approximately 9.50 x 10.30mm to 16.20 x 16.40mm and are each in an individual, substantial 'cup' setting highlighted by round briliant-cut diamonds. The diamonds are estimated to weigh approximately 4.36cts in total. Length 46cm.
The bracelet is of the same design. The cultured pearls measure approximately 8.90 x 11.90mm to 13.65 x 13.65mm and are each in an individual, substantial 'cup' setting highlighted by round briliant-cut diamonds. The diamonds are estimated to weigh approximately 1.85cts in total.
The earrings are for pierced ears with post and clip fittings. The cultured pearls measure approximately 13.30 x 13.30mm and are each in an individual, substantial 'cup' setting highlighted by round briliant-cut diamonds. The diamonds are estimated to weigh approximately 0.49ct in total.
It is accompanied by a copy of the insurance valuation given to the current owner when they purchased the collar from Hamilton & Inches, Edinburgh, in 2003 stating the replacement value, at that time, and which requires updating, to be £62,200.
It is in very good condition showing only very light indications of wear.
