An Antique Late 19th Century Lovers Knot Natural Pearl and Diamond Necklace, cased by Tessier

£7,500

Item description

A late Victorian pearl and diamond necklace in a fitted case by Tessier, the renowned London jewellers who traded from 1812 until they sadly closed a few years ago. This beautiful piece can be worn as a necklace or as a brooch as the chain is detachable. The old round brilliant-cut diamond-set lover’s knot suspends two articulated drops each of which is set with a natural pearl.

A striking addition to a jewellery collection and one imbued with romanticism, the lover’s knot, the diamonds for eternity and the pearls for purity - does it get more meaningful? Pendant length (to top of single diamond on chain) 62mm. Chain length 52cm.

Diamonds weigh approximately 3.50cts in total.

Pearls measure approximately 6.50mm in length.

Unhallmarked. Tests as silver on gold.
