FUN FACTS:

Andalucite is named for the region of Andalucia, in Spain, where it was first discovered. It is unusual to find a transparent gem quality stone and most people are unfamiliar with it, despite its beautiful multicoloured appearance which can show flashes of yellows, reddish brown and green all at once.
