I was delighted to feature in The Scotsman newspaper following my discussion about all things pearly with journalist Gaby Soutar. Our February event, 'The Wonder of Pearls', with master pearl stringer Renata Terjeki was a great success. At the event, which took place at The Marine Hotel in North Berwick, guests were given the opportunity to witness Renata in action stringing pearls, including their own pearls which they could bring along to be restrung. Her skill is highly regarded and it was thrilling to be able to watch her at work.
It really was a superb occasion with guests joining us from across Scotland and they enjoyed having the opportunity to examine stunning pieces of jewellery including some equisite, rare conch pearls.
