Collaboration with the edinburgh watch company

I'm delighted to announce a collaboration between The Edinburgh Watch Company and Clare Blatherwick FGA DGA.

The watch market is not only highly charged and fast moving but also complex, with demand outstripping supply for certain timepieces, particularly Rolex sports watches and Patek Philippe Nautilus models. This means in some instances, watches are selling for more in the secondary market than from retailers who are able to access such desirable stock. In a market of this nature, its more important than ever to ensure you insure and if you already do, make sure your watch valuation is up to date.

Jonathan Gilbert of The Edinburgh Watch Company and I both pride ourselves on the quality of our products and our customer service. The bespoke nature of our respective businesses means that we can offer our clients time, expertise and complete integrity to allow them to make informed choices in purchasing a watch, a piece of jewellery or protecting their pieces against the worst happening.

As a member of the National Association of Jewellers (NAJ), a member of the Jewellery Valuation Association (JVA), a Fellow of the Gemmological Association (FGA) and a Diamond member of The Gemmological Association (DGA), with over 20 years of experience in the luxury jewellery world including 10 years as Head of Jewellery for an international auctioneer, I am ideally placed to offer sound advice on insurance matters. I will visit you at your home, office or bank, prepare a professional document with photographs of your piece(s) which you, or indeed I, can pass directly to your insurer, leaving no room for uncertainty. Not being parted from your watch for a second + no hassle = peace of mind.

Please feel free to contact me to discuss your watch valuation requirements or the Edinburgh Watch Company's valuations page to find out more.
